Online brainstorming: collect ideas like with sticky notes

Pinnarium is a digital pinboard for team brainstorming – free and without sign-up. Everyone writes their ideas on digital sticky notes, on a phone or laptop. The notes snap into clear sections, get grouped into themes at the push of a button and are rated with sticky dots.

Features

Phone as a notepad

On a smartphone you get a large notepad: type an idea, swipe up – and the note sticks to the board.

Clear sections instead of an endless canvas

Ideas · Questions · Parking lot: notes snap into columns. Nobody gets lost or moves the layout by accident.

Collect first, judge later

Private writing stops the first ideas from shaping all the others. Everything is revealed at once.

Sort into themes automatically

The assistant groups similar ideas and merges duplicates – locally on our own server, without external AI.

Dot voting with sticky dots

The facilitator decides how many dots everyone gets. Stamps like 👍 ❤️ 💡 ❓ 🎯 give quick feedback.

A layout that fits your topic

Instead of a template, type in your meeting topic – Pinnarium suggests sections and a guiding question. For decisions there are pros & cons and SWOT.

How it works

  1. Set the guiding question – Start a board, pick the “Idea collection” template or type in your topic, e.g. “How do we improve our onboarding?”.
  2. Everyone writes ideas – Join via QR code and write one idea per note – privately and with a timer, if you like.
  3. Organise – Reveal, let the assistant group by theme and merge duplicates.
  4. Prioritise – Hand out sticky dots, sort by dots and take the best ideas forward.
